Rod Stewart stuns Scottish pub with karaoke performance

Rod Stewart shocked patrons at a Scottish pub when he confirmed up for karaoke alongside his longtime pal and Bay City Rollers member, John McLaughlin.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, 81, was having fun with a drink with his son Alastair, 20, when he was coaxed into performing Creedence Clearwater Revival’s hit single Have You Ever Seen the Rain.

An Instagram video posted on January 14 by the singer’s whisky model, Wolfie Whiskey, reveals John holding the mic while Rod belts out the music on the dance ground. Alastair, who he shares with spouse Penny Lancaster, was seen laughing as his father toasted, “Cheers, everybody, God bless.”

The Stewart household has been spending a big period of time in Scotland not too long ago.

Rod, Penny, and their two sons rang in the New Year at the Gleneagles resort in Perthshire. The Maggie May singer also attended the yr’s first Old Firm derby in Glasgow just days later, reviews The Express UK.

He watched Celtic F.C. scrape a 1-0 victory over Falkirk F.C.

In a current BBC interview, Rod opened up about his final needs. The legendary rocker disclosed the place he’d wish to be laid to relaxation when his time comes.

He expressed his want to be buried of their dwelling’s backyard, next to the resting place of their beloved canine, Bubbles.

He remarked, “You don’t want to talk about the end but look it happens to all of us.”

Penny chimed in, “Maybe we’ll have a family cemetery, then it has to be in the deed of the property – you buy the property, you have to maintain the cemetery of the Stewarts!”

Later in the dialog, Penny paid an emotional tribute to her husband of 18 years. She expressed, “To think of what a gift it is to have found one another and have brought this family so close to one another, it brings a lump to my throat.”

Rod has fathered eight youngsters with 5 different women. His other youngsters embrace Sarah, 61, whose mom is Susannah Boffey, Kimberly, 45, with Alana Stewart, Ruby, 37, with Kelly Emberg, and Renee, 33, with Rachel Hunter.

He also has two other sons, Sean, 44, with Alana, and Liam, 30, with Rachel.
