Tomi Lahren’s brutal ‘vainness’ diss to Kristi Noem after

Far-right political commentator Tomi Lahren is talking out after Donald Trump abruptly fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, just days after she testified before lawmakers in Washington.

Noem had appeared before Congress earlier in the week during oversight hearings about the Department of Homeland Security’s immigration insurance policies and spending choices. Lawmakers from each events questioned her about the division’s actions and a controversial promoting campaign tied to immigration enforcement.

Shortly after news of her elimination unfold on-line, Lahren reacted in a submit on X that rapidly drew consideration. “Kristi Noem made the job about her, her hair, her makeup, her outfits, her vanity. It was a giant distraction from the mission. She did the same s— as governor of South Dakota. Once the cameras turned on she forgot about the people and went on a personal PR mission. Not cute.” The tweet got here just moments after the firing was announced.

Lahren adopted up with another submit criticizing a major promoting campaign related to the division.

“How do you justify spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on a vanity ad for yourself? You can’t. And apparently, the President agrees,” she wrote.

Manu X users pushed back and accused Lahren of hypocrisy.

“You are unjustly criticizing Secretary Noem for some of the very same things you do yourself, Tomi,” one person replied.

“Easy Tomi – some might accuse the pot calling the kettle black here,” another said.

A third wrote, “Tomi Lahren made the job about her, her hair, her makeup, her outfits, her vanity.”

“So you’re saying Trump is a horrible judge of character? Are you even MAGA?” a fourth called out.

Trump announced Noem’s removal on March 5, marking the first major cabinet change of his second term in office. He said she would be replaced by Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin, who is expected to take over leadership of the Department of Homeland Security after Senate confirmation.

Despite the firing, Trump said Noem will remain involved in his administration in a different role. She is set to become the U.S. Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a position tied to a new regional security initiative focused on cooperation across the Western Hemisphere.

This comes after a tough week for Noem. During recent congressional hearings, lawmakers pressed her about a $200 million to $220 million advertising campaign produced by the Department of Homeland Security that encouraged undocumented immigrants to leave the United States voluntarily. Critics questioned whether the campaign improperly highlighted Noem herself and whether the contracts behind the ads followed proper procedures.

During the hearing, Noem told lawmakers the campaign had been approved through the department’s legal process and suggested that Trump had signed off on it. The White House later denied that the president had authorized the campaign, and reports indicated the disagreement angered Trump and contributed to his decision to remove her from the position.

Noem also faced criticism over the department’s immigration enforcement strategy and its handling of several high-profile incidents tied to the administration’s crackdown on undocumented immigration, including the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

Trump said Mullin would step in as the next leader of the department as the administration continues pushing its immigration agenda.
