Bunnie Xo shares reason she deleted podcast episode

Bunnie Xo lately opened up about why she deleted a podcast episode that detailed her separation from Jelly Roll.

The 41-year-old nation music star filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo, 46, in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18, according to People, citing paperwork obtained and courtroom information considered by the publication. Their cut up resulting from irreconcilable variations got here practically a decade after they tied the knot in 2016.

Just days after the news broke about their cut up, Bunnie Xo dove into the reason behind their separation in an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast — an installment that was later taken down, after it made $100,000.

On Friday, July 10, Bunnie Xo addressed why she determined to take away the podcast in a new episode titled “Divorce Pods & Heartthrobs.”

“I took it down because I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline,” the media character explained. “I don’t want to live in that… but I also believe that people deserve the space to heal, to evolve, and to move forward.”

“That episode served a purpose for me at that time, and it was real, it was honest, and it came from exactly where I was emotionally in that moment,” she said. “But I’m not in that same place anymore.”

“I think that that’s where we need to pause and just kind of focus on the fact that people are like, ‘Oh, well, she moved on so fast.’ And it’s like, hold up. I’ve been mourning the loss of my marriage for at least a year. I had visions of the news breaking, of it happening,” Bunnie said.

“There is so much behind the scenes that I have not spoken on and that I will never speak on because it doesn’t matter. I will only tell you guys my part in the demise of my marriage.”

“When people see me out having fun and you know just living my best life, I can see where they would be like ‘Wow, they just announced the divorce.’ But really, you guys have to understand, I have been sitting in purgatory — purgatory — for two and a half months,” she emphasised.

Bunnie Xo revealed the intimate moments in her grieving course of, saying, “There was times where I was on the floor screaming, crying, because I could not understand what the f–k was going on.”

She said there have been moments when she wasn’t consuming or ingesting, posing a danger of being hospitalized.

“I couldn’t even stand up because I was so f—ing devastated,” Bunnie Xo detailed.

She admitted she doesn’t wish to get emotional on her podcast, after shedding tears on social media following a short-term cut up from Jelly Roll in 2018.

“I don’t like being that vulnerable,” she confessed, relating to the deleted podcast episode. “Yes, it makes me human, but at the same time, I want women to know, like, ‘You’re gonna f—ing get through it. You’re gonna survive.’”

“But also, if I’m being real, I don’t want the divorce to become my entire personality. I don’t want to be the poster child for divorce,” she said, including that there’s more to her than this one “painful chapter.”

She continued to disclose that she made a staggering $100,000 from that one podcast episode about her divorce from Jelly Roll, noting that it was one in all her highest-viewed episodes.

“But I don’t care about the money. If I cared about the money, I would’ve left it up and let it get another f—ing 100 grand,” she explained.

Bunnie Xo said the elimination of the divorce podcast episode was to not be “malicious” or about “hiding anything or pretending it didn’t happen.” She clarified that she doesn’t need it to “define” her total life.

“If you guys will allow me to grow, I’ll keep growing out loud and healing out loud,” she concluded.
